LuEllen Childers, Librarian

My name is LuEllen Childers, and I have been a Librarian here at St. James School since 2006.

My husband, three sons, and I moved to Madison from Illinois in January of 2005.  I began volunteering as the librarian for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades for the 2006-2007 school year.  I became “THE” librarian after the previous librarian lost her battle with cancer. I have the honor and privilege to influence each student’s love for books and reading throughout their years here at St. James School and beyond!  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, binge watching Turner Classic Movies, and I’m just wild about books!
