Josh Williams, Middle School Reading and Science Teacher

My name is Josh Williams and I am joining the St. James community as the Middle School Science and Reading teacher! I grew up in the Madison area and completed my bachelors in Education at Edgewood College. I also completed my Master’s Degree from UW-Whitewater. I have been a teacher for over 5 years teaching in the Madison area. I most recently worked at the University of Wisconsin- Platteville as their Coordinator for Athletics and Recreation Operations. I decided to come back to work in the Madison area and can’t wait to work with the SJS students and families! Some of you may recognize me because I was a student teacher for Mrs. Eshun, a substitute teacher for SJS a few years back and my sister, Ms. Steffenie, is the technology teacher. I have a wife named Kaci, and a son named Teddy. I am looking forward to working with SJS students in the school garden and will be working towards bringing more plants into the classroom. When I am not teaching or being a parent, you may see me at Lake Wingra sitting on a bucket ice fishing or testing out my new skates at the ice rink if we ever get ice!
