Marie Ethen, Director of Operations
It is with much gratitude that I serve on staff at Good Shepherd Parish and St. James School in the position of Development Director. My work primarily consists of managing the school Annual Fund and Spring Auction, and I also help with managing marketing and communications for the parish and school. Our parish community warmly welcomed my family in 2018, when we moved from the East side of Madison.
I was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Marquette University, where I fell in love with Wisconsin...and my husband! I have worked over 10 years in marketing and have been blessed to spend about 14 years as a stay-at-home parent. I feel additionally blessed to now be in a position where I can promote Catholic faith and education and use my marketing experience. In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, cooking, baking, gardening and playing games with my family.
